Here's a simple but effective craft project for the kids to make fancy Christmas Gift Tags for presents
You will need:
Plain cardboard
Ribbon
Old wrapping paper or Christmas cards
Glue
Step 1Cut out a rectangle of cardboard, and cut off the corners at one end to make your label shape. Punch a hole in the centre using a paper puncher (or you can use a pencil to push through the hole if you don't have a puncher). |

Step 2Cut some ribbon the same width as the cardboard and glue it to one side only. (Remember to keep the other side free to write your message! ) |

Step 3Cut out some colour card and a picture. I used a piece of wrapping paper but you could also cut up an old Christmas Card and glue the picture to the background card and then glue the card to your gift tag. You can also add further decorations at this point. Sticker, jewels, buttons, glitter etc |

Step 4Thread a piece of ribbon or cord/twine through the hole and your gift tag is ready for use! |
